Psilo Light is the ideal choice for anyone trying 4-HO-MET for the first time, or for those simply seeking a lighter, more social experience. The same proven quality as our Psilo Classic, but at half the concentration: ±1.5 mg 4-HO-MET per drop. That makes it especially easy to build up the dose step by step and land exactly where you want.
Every batch of Psilo Light is made with pharmaceutical-grade 4-HO-MET and filled into UV-resistant glass bottles with a precise measuring pipette. UV glass protects the active substance against light degradation, so the quality is preserved, even if the bottle has been in your fridge for a while. Every bottle is individually lab-tested; the quality report is available on request.
Thanks to the lower concentration, Psilo Light is also suitable for a lighter, more functional mood on a festival day, creative evening or social gathering , without the intensity of a full psychedelic session. This way, beginners get to know their personal sensitivity before possibly moving up to the Classic.

The active substance
How does 4-HO-MET work?
4-HO-MET (4-hydroxy-N-methyl-N-ethyltryptamine) is a synthetic tryptamine and a direct analogue of psilocin, the substance responsible for the psychedelic effect of mushrooms. Like psilocin, 4-HO-MET is not converted by the body before it is active; it is already in its biologically active form when you take it. This gives a faster, more consistent and more predictable effect than dried mushrooms, whose potency can vary greatly per batch.
It works via agonism at the 5-HT2A serotonin receptor in the cerebral cortex. By activating this receptor, normal pattern recognition and self-reflection are temporarily interrupted, leading to heightened sensory sensitivity, associative thinking, colours that seem more intense and a strengthened sense of connection. At lower doses, as is usual with Psilo Light, the relaxing, empathogenic and creative effects predominate, while genuine hallucinations largely stay absent. exact dosing accurate to the milligram, no nausea from plant material, a stable concentration per bottle and a longer shelf life. Responsible use
Safety information
Set & setting. Ensure a safe, familiar environment and a positive mental state before you begin. Your mood and environment largely determine how the experience unfolds.
Start sober. Eat little or nothing 4–6 hours before intake. On an empty stomach, 4-HO-MET works faster and more evenly, with less chance of nausea.
Trip sitter. At higher doses: ensure a sober, trusted person nearby who can guide or reassure you if needed.
Do not combine with alcohol, cannabis, stimulants (speed, MDMA), lithium or MAO inhibitors. Combinations can cause unpredictable and dangerous effects.
Wait 4–6 weeks between sessions to avoid cross-tolerance. 4-HO-MET builds tolerance quickly via serotonin receptors; more frequent use leads to a reduced effect.
Do not use with (a history of) psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder or severe anxiety disorders. Not during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Not under 18. Always keep out of reach of children and animals.
